Who Are We?

We are the Cooper family. There are five of us: Scott, Laura, Olivia, Meredith and Cecily. Most of the time, we lead busy professional lives on the West Coast of the United States, while our kids stay busy with school, sports, activities, music and their hobbies. Sometimes we just need a time out. Every five years or so, we head out for a BIG ADVENTURE, preferably in a world capital where the language, the scenery, the people and the experience are completely foreign. This blog is our story of our month in Rome--the Eternal City.
