Roman Dermatitis

On and off, we've experienced an off phenomenom while here.  Dr. Linda calls it "Roman Dermatitis" as it seems to have no common diagnosis.  It consists of red patches, that neither itch or nor hurt but are rather unsightly.  It seems to be brought on by sweat, heat and pressure, and definitely gets worse when wearing unpadded Italian shoes!  We have noticed that it affects the Anglo-German complected members of the family (Scott, Laura, Meredith) while Olivia, who has beautiful Italian skin, seems unaffected.  Fortunately, it gets better with a day of rest.  Why fair-skinned, blonde Cecily gets nothing is a bit of a mystery.  Maybe she's just "incorruptible" like one of those creepy saints in a box we keep seeing.
