Shout Out

Lest I forget, I want to give a shout out to our rental agent and all-around go-to person, Carol Murillo and her crew, including Kyle and Chiara, at RomaRentals SPQR, found on the net at Romarentals. net.  We found their site through AirBandB, and they made us a reasonable deal and made the rental process easy.  But that's only half the story.  They have helped with coordinating transportation to and from the airport (including the horrible wait when luggage didn't arrive), coodinating a trip to Florence, coordinating with the luggage delivery service and coordinating with Fed Ex and UPS for arrival of various packages.  We've also met interesting people who also happen to be passing through the office, and they are our guide to all mysteries about living abroad.  Many people think that living abroad for a month is some sort of fairy tale existence.  Actually, it's a lot of work and can be fairly stressful at times.  RomaRentals makes it easier.  We're glad they are there, and the fact that Carol is from Oregon is icing on the cake!  The girls love Carol and think of her as some sort of honorary fun-loving aunt! Laura, true to form, has somehow wrangled an invitation to happy hour with Carol for girl talk on Monday.
